Wellness Coordinator

Qualification and experience required:

  • Diploma in Nursing Science recognised by the South Africa Nursing Council (SANC) as a registered Nurse.
  • B, Cur Degree in Nursing Science recognised by the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a registered Nurse, with one or more of the following qualifications: Primary Health Care, Community Health, Occupational Health and Administration preferred as well as certificate for SANS160001:2013 Wellness and Disease Management System (includes HIV/AIDS).
  • Computer literacy.
  • Five years’ relevant work experience.

Job purpose:

  • Initiating, organising and implementing Wellness program to improve the well-being of employees by helping them to make healthy lifestyle choices to reach their full potential, to limit the burdens of disease, increase productivity and morale and to reduce the absenteeism rate in Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
  • As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
