- To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Team Lead to join our team
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Manage and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
- Prepare tender and contract documents.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and implement cost-saving measures.
- Value completed work and process payments.
- Prepare final accounts and negotiate settlements.
- Provide advice on contractual and commercial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building technology, Construction Management.
- Masters will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years proven experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in the Building Construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage conflicts effectively.
- Thorough understanding of Nigerian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
