Responsibilities
- Design and lead the execution of the organization’s partnership strategy across NGOs, corporates, donors, and institutions.
- Identifyand pursue high-value partnership opportunities with tailored engagement and outreach plans.
- Drive the development of co-branded proposals, partnership decks, investment cases, and annual fundraising strategies.
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with partners through consistent communication, events, and recognition efforts.
- Serve as the primary liaison to ensure alignment with partners on shared goals, expectations, and deliverables.
- Coordinate proposal development across teams and ensuretimely, high-quality reporting on partnership performance.
- Maintain and enhance CRM systems and documentation processes, including standardized templates and stewardship materials.
- Track all partnership activities through a structured pipeline dashboard and reporting infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in development studies, International Relations, Business, Communications, or relatedfield. (Master’s degree is a plus.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, business development, or donor relations, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
- Proventrack recordof securing and managing diverse partnerships (corporate, government, NGO, and international funders).
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong proposal writing and grant development capabilities.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiencyin CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep understanding of the donor ecosystem and development funding landscape in Africa.
