Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and continuously refine effective operational strategies to achieve company objectives, maximize efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive profitability across board by achieving set targets.
  • Independently identify opportunities for improvement and implement viable solutions to operational challenges.
  • Monitor and ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop strategies with implementation plans that will increase operational stability and yield profit.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee inventory levels to balance costs and ensure product availability.
  • Manage budgets, be competent with Profit & Loss statements, collaborate with finance and supply chain teams for accurate forecasting and implementation of cost control measures.
  • Work closely with all departments to align operations with the broader company goals.
  • Develop and implement risk management and business continuity plans to address potential operational disruptions and maintain stability during crises.
  • Prepare and present regular operational performance reports to senior management.
  • Conceptualize and execute new ideas that propel growth, managing projects from inception to completion without constant supervision.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs, fostering a culture of accountability and ownership among staff.
  • Establish high service standards to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and leverage feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly assess staff performance in areas such as sales growth, customer satisfaction, staff productivity, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (with an MBA preferably).
  • Experience: 5 years + in operations management, preferably within the healthcare, retail or trado-medical industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the healthcare, medical or retail sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing manufacturing processes, supply chains, and logistics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements specific to the healthcare, retail or trado-medical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in operational strategy, process improvement, and independent project management.
  • Proficient in interpreting operational data to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams through effective communication.
  • Highly self-driven with an aptitude for proactive decision-making, problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Exhibits a strong sense of responsibility, treating the company with care and dedication as if it were their own.
