Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Implementation to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa.
  • In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the implementation of our cutting-edge solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for our clients.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a Financial Services Organisation
  • Solid Project Management & Implementation background (5-10 years)
  • Hands-on experience in Transactional Banking, plus knowledge across Cash, Trade, Investor Services & Card
  • Client engagement experience across multiple African markets
  • Confidence to engage with senior/executive management (CFOs, Treasury Heads, Financial Managers)
  • Deep understanding of account opening, onboarding, FICA/KYC across African regions
  • Ability to take full ownership of implementations – driving “mandate to money”
  • Extensive Knowledge of TPS channels, SWIFT Payments, electronic channel integrations , onboarding and ISO
  • Solid operations and systems exposure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in implementation management, preferably in a financial industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex implementation projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and implementation best practice with Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in relevant project management tools and software
  • In-depth understanding of industry-specific implementation processes and challenges
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable
  • Ability to travel within South Africa as required for client engagements
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional local languages is advantageous
