Key Purpose
- Gathering, analysing and documenting of Discovery Life communication requirements for product, system and business process enhancements as well as for legislative, compliance and ad-hoc projects.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Consulting with business owners to gather their requirements for product application forms and servicing forms, as well as other written and digital communication. This includes liaising and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders such as Marketing Services, Compliance and Legal,
- Managing the application form process from requirement gathering and analysis to managing backlog requirements and designing of forms according to the using agreed standards,
- Ongoing maintenance and updates on Discovery Life forms,
- Clearly and accurately identifying and documenting communication business requirements using agreed standards,
- Ensuring that all communication requirements are documented, reviewed and signed off based on agreed standards,
- Reviewing and approving test packs, where applicable, for systems releases to ensure that all documented communication business requirements are tested and implemented correctly,
- Liaising with business owners and systems developers to ensure successful implementation of communication requirements,
- Investigating and providing feedback on queries related to forms and other communication items from business representatives,
- Adherence to the agreed SDLC and standards

Education and Experience
- Matric
- Communications related Diploma/Degree or other relevant qualification from an accredited institution
- At least 1 years of experience in a communications analysis role (or similar)
Advantageous
- Discovery product, business and systems knowledge
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a communication analyst role within financial services sector
- Experience working with mobile app and web requirements
- Experience working form typesetting on DISIgner
