Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Cleaning Oversite

  • Supervise cleaning teams and ensure all school spaces meet required hygiene standards.
  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules not handled by the outsourced company.
  • Manage internal cleaning inventory and ensure proper usage.
  • Conduct routine inspections for compliance.

Catering & Kitchen Management

  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure timely, hygienic meal preparation.
  • Monitor food quality, storage, and portion control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain kitchen inventory and support procurement planning.

Staff Coordination

  • Train, guide, and supervise kitchen and cleaning staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and discipline.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Support hygiene and sanitation awareness initiatives.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and operations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on housekeeping and catering performance.
  • Support school events requiring catering or venue setup.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Housekeeping, Catering, Hospitality, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a school, hotel, or institutional kitchen/housekeeping role.
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Excellent supervisory, organizational, and communication skills.
